The nominee will demonstrate:

The winner of the Community Impact Award will be an individual who identifies a community need, takes decisive and effective action to fulfill that need, and inspires others in the process.

The nominator must state specific instances where the individual has made an impact in the community. For example: development of a healing garden at a hospital, a city beautification project to plant trees along roadsides, the organization of a community fundraiser to help neighbors after a hurricane or fire, or the establishment of a scholarship fund for disadvantaged students. Impact can include performing the labor necessary to complete a service project (time); applying a professional skillset to strategize, initiate and manage a service project (talent); or direct philanthropic giving (treasure).
