ENPYs award nomination deadline extended to Monday, Sept. 25
To provide ample time for submissions, the Cape Coral Community Foundation will extend the deadline for ENPYs nominations to Monday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. The inaugural Excellence in Nonprofit Performance Yearly presentation will feature outstanding nonprofit organizations, leaders and business partners within Southwest Florida. Finalists and winners will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at Crowne Plaza Bell Tower in Fort Myers.
As Southwest Florida recovers from the devastation of Hurricane Irma, thousands of people around the community have stepped up to make a difference before, during and after the storm. These are the people who represent what the ENPYs are all about. In addition to the organizations and people who make the community a better place all year round without expectation of recognition, the foundation encourages citizens to nominate a nonprofit, church or individual that has gone above and beyond during this crisis.
Cape Coral Community Foundation President and CEO Michael Chatman said, “The buzz is building surrounding The ENPYs and we want to give Southwest Florida nonprofits and businesses the opportunity to prepare an application, given the clean-up and recovery from the storm are now a priority.”
Criteria, instructions and nomination forms are available at ENPYAwards.com. Up to three finalists will be selected in each of the following categories by a panel of judges:
Nonprofit Organization of the Year (established more than three years ago)
Nonprofit Rising Organization of the Year (established less than three years ago)
Nonprofit Executive of the Year (CEO, president, executive director)
Nonprofit Board Leader of the Year (board member)
