Yet, breaking through the clutter in today’s information-overloaded society poses a huge challenge to organizations of all sizes. The winner of this award is a resourceful nonprofit organization that has served to increase their audience reach and elevate brand awareness with limited resources through use of press releases, social media, events, and media relations. Nominations for this award are due by July 31st at 11:59 pm.

The nominee will demonstrate:
- Exceptional nonprofit dedicated to generating media exposure that leads to awareness, growth, and contributions.
- Resourceful nonprofit with multi-tasking staff and/or volunteers getting their message out and taking advantage of low-cost or no-cost online and off-line publicity channels.
- Leadership qualities that sets the organization apart as a role model to other nonprofit with limited public relations and marketing budgets.
- An ability to use publicity inspire others and rally them to the cause
